WCAG contrast vs my stubborn cat, the cat won
Tbh I was redesigning my pet blog and had to pick between two header color combos, a soft beige on white or a bold teal on cream. I went with the teal on cream because it looked trendier, but my cat kept sitting on the keyboard and the final preview showed the beige version. I published it, then got a message from a reader with low vision saying the teal was unreadable at 12px. Fixing it took me an hour and a bag of treats to bribe the cat away. Has anyone else had a pet mess with their accessibility testing, or is it just my furry QA department?

That "furry QA department" line got me good, my dog does the same thing whenever I preview sites on my laptop. I learned to set up a second monitor out of paw reach and do a quick contrast check with a free browser tool before I even think about publishing. Now I just tell myself the cat is doing me a favor, even if the treats bill keeps going up.
