Tried a dark blue background instead of black for my landing page - huge difference
I was picking between navy blue (#0a1628) and pure black (#000000) for a client's hero section, and I went with the navy because it felt softer. Turned out people with light sensitivity could actually read the white text on it way better, which I didn't expect. Has anyone else swapped out a common color for something slightly different and seen better contrast results?

I went with the navy because it felt softer" - thats exactly what happened to me with dark blue vs black too. I tried a dark slate on my own landing page and it made the copy pop like crazy. My first attempt was pure black and everyone in my family said the white text burned their eyes. Navy ended up looking more premium too, like a luxury brand instead of a cheap site. I felt pretty dumb that it took me three redesigns to figure out something so simple.

Three redesigns for navy. Rookie numbers. Try seven.
