This week I redesigned a menu for a diner in Detroit and the owner loved it

I spent last Thursday matching their brand colors to WCAG AA standards (it was a nightmare with that neon green they wanted). Has anyone else had a client push back on contrast fixes even though it makes reading way easier for the customer?

Three different projects this month had the exact SAME fight over legibility.

Seriously though, it's wild how the same arguments pop up everywhere. I see it with to-do lists at home too - my wife writes hers in bullet points and I need full sentences or I get completely lost. People just process information totally different, and nobody wants to admit their way isn't the only way. What kind of stuff were they fighting over?
