Why did my code work yesterday and break today?
Spent 4 hours last night chasing a bug that appeared out of nowhere. Turned out the package I was using auto-updated overnight and changed its API. Has anyone else had dependencies silently break their beginner projects like this?

Oh man, "auto-updated overnight" hit way too close to home. That's brutal, especially when you're just starting out and finally think you've got things figured out.
That exact thing happened to me with some tool I was using, one day it worked, next day it just noped out on me. Took me forever to realize it wasn't my code, it was the update screwing with the whole setup.
