Used to write my to-do list by hand, switched to a tiny Python script last winter
I started learning Python back in January, mostly just messing around on my lunch break. For like two years before that I kept a paper notebook for my to-do lists and I would lose it or spill coffee on it constantly. Last week I finally wrote a little script that saves tasks to a text file and prints them out when I run it, nothing fancy, maybe 40 lines total. The weird part is I actually use it now, which never happened with any of the app store apps I tried. My only issue is I still don't really get how file paths work, I had to Google the same error twice. Any tips on a good next small project that won't make me hate myself?
