Spent 3 hours last Saturday stuck on a missing semicolon and I almost quit
Last Saturday I sat at my kitchen table in Tucson trying to get a little tip calculator working in JavaScript, and it kept spitting out NaN no matter what numbers I typed in. I finally pasted my code into a friend's Discord at 11pm and he pointed at one line: I had forgotten a semicolon after my variable and also typed getElementByID with a capital D. Three hours of my life gone over two tiny typos. I laughed and also wanted to throw my laptop out the window. Does anyone else's brain just stop seeing the error after staring at it for too long, or is that just me?
