Shoutout to the guy who built a whole website using Notion as a CMS
I was at this little co-working space in Austin last Friday and overheard this dude talking about his startup. Turns out he built their entire company site using Notion as the backend. Like he wrote all the content in Notion and then used some tool to pull it into a Next.js frontend. I asked him why he didn't just use WordPress or something normal and he said he wanted something that his non-tech cofounder could edit without breaking anything. Honestly it sounded kinda genius but also like a nightmare when Notion goes down. Have any of yall tried using Notion as a CMS for a real project or is this just asking for trouble?

Wait, are you serious because I really thought this was a terrible idea until my friend did the same thing and it actually worked great.

Yeah but is it really that serious though? I mean people say stuff works all the time and then you try it and it's just okay. I'd need to see it with my own eyes before I'm convinced.
