Lost 2 weeks on a tutorial loop because I skipped the part where I actually run the code
Skipped typing out the examples in a free Python course and just watched the videos, then froze when someone asked me to write a loop on my own. Spent 9 days redoing it hands on, typing every line even when it felt dumb. How long do you watch before you start typing?
Wait, you watched the whole thing without ever opening a terminal? That's wild to me. Nine days to fix it sounds about right though, muscle memory is real and you only get it from typing the stuff out yourself. I usually give a video 10 minutes max before I'm in the editor breaking things.
