I finally saw the difference in my own code from 6 months ago and it stung a bit
Opened an old project folder from last August and my first loop was 40 lines of copy paste with hardcoded values everywhere. I rewrote the same thing in 6 lines with a helper function after my buddy at a meetup in Austin showed me how he does it, and it clicked why everyone says just keep building stuff. What's the dumbest thing you found in your own old code when you went back to look?
