I finally got my first program to run without errors after 3 tries

Started learning Python two weeks ago. Kept getting syntax errors every time I tried to print something simple. Yesterday I ran a basic calculator that actually added two numbers I typed in. Found out from a YouTube tutorial that I was missing colons after my if statements. Took me way too long to realize but it clicked. Has anyone else had a silly mistake that held them back for days?

Wait, you're telling me a colon caused all that drama?

Colons are sneaky little things... they sneak into code and just break everything sometimes. A misplaced colon can crash a whole system if you're not careful. Pretty wild that one tiny punctuation mark can cause a massive headache. It's like a period that just won't behave.
