Ran my 10,000th part on the Haas yesterday and the counter made me stop and think

Ten thousand parts on one machine is a solid run, but the counter stopping you says more about the day than the number does. Those little counters are just timers when you get down to it, and a guy can hit 10k running the same easy job over and over or 10k fighting setups and tool changes the whole way. What stands out to me is you actually paused to look at it, because most people just zero it out and keep going.
