Found coolant in my air line last Thursday
I was running a Haas VF-2 in Detroit and the mister started spitting milky fluid instead of air. Turns out the coolant tank was overfilled and it backed up into the air system through a worn check valve. Anyone else dealt with that kind of backfeed issue on their machines?

Heard a guy at a shop in Toledo say the same thing happened on their Mazak last winter. Something about the coolant pump seal going bad and pushing fluid up the air line instead of where it should go. Real pain to flush out after, took them like two shifts to get the lines clean again.

Blew a seal on my own mill last year and spent 3 hours drying out the solenoid pack like an idiot.
