Found a way to stop endmill chatter on thin aluminum sheets

Been fighting chatter for months on 0.032 inch 6061 aluminum. Tried everything, different feeds, speeds, even a $300 holder. Finally clamped the sheet down on a piece of 3/4 inch MDF with double-sided tape from Home Depot. Worked better than any vacuum table I've seen. Anyone else got a cheap trick for thin stock?

Double-sided tape on MDF is a solid move... did you leave the backing paper on the MDF or tape straight to the wood surface? I've had mixed results with the tape grabbing the dust and losing hold halfway through a cut.
