Vent: sent my bar logo to print in RGB and got a mud brown IPA instead of copper
Spent 3 hours in Illustrator tweaking the exact copper tone for our house IPA label, then exported as RGB and sent it to the printer in Tucson without thinking. Got back 200 bottles with a brown that looked like pond water next to the copper cap. Proofing on screen will always lie to you because your monitor glows and paper does not. Anyone got a cheap Pantone book rec so I can stop guessing at hex codes?
