Update: My client's menu got printed with the teal plates showing up as gray, and now the owner thinks I picked the wrong color on purpose
The proof looked fine on my screen but the press guy in Denver said nobody caught that the plates were built in RGB so the teal dropped out on the gray plate, and now I'm out $340 for a reprint plus the owner won't return my calls, has anyone else had a proof look right and still get burned by a bad separation?
