My old habit of designing in RGB bit me on a 500 card job last month
I used to design everything in RGB then just convert to CMYK at export, until a run of 500 business cards came back with a muddy brown where I wanted a bright orange. Now I set up my file in CMYK from the start and check the numbers on my brightest colors before sending anything to print. Anyone got a good rule for how much color shift to expect on uncoated stock?
