CMYK soup on a 50-foot banner, who's actually at fault?
I sent a 50-foot banner for a trade show in Denver last month, the printer said my file had embedded profiles so they just let it rip, came back looking like a faded photo from 1995. Is it the prepress team's job to flag profile mismatches, or did I hand over a ticking bomb by trusting my monitor? Anyone ever had a client blame them after the printer's own separations looked off?
