Celebrated 50th misprint with a grayscale wedding album today
Client wanted rich CMYK colors for their big day, but I sent the file as grayscale by accident. Took me 3 reprints to figure out why everything looked like a black and white movie.

Hold up, did you really have to pay for all three reprints out of your own pocket? Because that's the kind of mistake that would absolutely haunt me. Sounds like a nightmare of a billing situation with the client too. How did they even react when they finally saw the third version come out right? I'm guessing they were pretty patient, or maybe they just didn't notice the difference until you pointed it out. That's the part that gets me - when you're staring at the same file for hours, your eyes just start playing tricks on you. Feel like you need to share the whole story of how you finally figured it out.

Oh man, reminds me of the time I printed 500 menus with a typo in the price!
