Caught a misread proof at a print shop in Austin last Thursday
The client's blue was coming out purple because someone had the file in RGB instead of CMYK. Has anyone else caught a color shift like that right before the run?

30 bucks says the client tried to blame you for "ruining their brand colors" too... I swear RGB is like a ghost in the machine that haunts every print shop. Nothing like a deep blue turning Barney the Dinosaur purple to make your heart drop.

Wait, isn't it always the client's fault somehow even when their file was literally set up wrong? I had a job last month where their "signature red" came out looking like Pepto-Bismol pink because somebody saved it as JPEG and the profile got stripped. They stood there watching me calibrate the press like I was the problem.
