Took me 3 hours to nail a teal for a surf shop in Santa Cruz, and the fix was a single number
Client wanted that classic ocean teal on 200 cotton tees, so I mixed what looked right on screen and sent it off. First proof came back too green, second too blue, and by the third try I was ready to throw my swatch book across the room. Turned out my cyan was sitting at 68 when it needed to be around 82, and dropping magenta by 5 got me the exact shade. Three hours of my Saturday gone over one dial. Anybody got a faster way to dial in teal without burning through proofs?
