Pantone book from 1998 still beats my phone app for matching

Everyone on here seems to rely on those color match apps, but I swear my old Pantone book from '98 nails the greens way better. Did a reprint run last week for a customer in Denver, and the book matched the swatch they brought in, the app said something else entirely. Anyone else keep a physical book around just for sanity checks?
