My greens keep printing muddy on dark shirts, need a fix
Got a batch of 40 shirts back from the shop last Tuesday and every single green looked brownish. I used the same CMYK values I always do, 60C 0M 100Y 10K. The proof on screen was perfect. The shop said it's the dark cotton base messing with the halftone. I tried a white underbase but it made the green too neon. Should I bump the yellow to 120 or switch to a spot color for this one? Anyone else fight this with forest green on black tees?
