My dark blues kept coming out purple until I switched my black channel

I run a DTG printer in Austin and noticed my navy shirts were shifting purple after about 60 prints, turns out my black ink was weak and the cyan was doing all the work. Swapped to a high-density black profile and now the blue stays blue, anyone else seen this with their DTG setup?

...and here I was blaming my eyes for like a week, thought I was going colorblind from staring at screens all day. Finally checked my black density and sure enough it was barely there, cyan was carrying the whole damn load. My wash tests looked like a bruise instead of navy. Swapped profiles and suddenly my blues are actually blue, go figure. Guess my printer just needed a pep talk about its black lines, or maybe I just needed to admit my ink was the lazy one here.
