My CMYK greens finally held after I hit 4 straight test prints that matched, and it was all because of a $6 pack of paper
I had been fighting muddy greens on my shirt designs for 3 weeks, burning through ink samples and getting nothing but brown. Then I switched my test sheets from the cheap 20 lb copy paper to a 32 lb laser paper I grabbed at the Staples on Elm Street for $6, and printed 4 pages back to back that all matched the same olive green on my monitor. I think the thinner paper was soaking up too much cyan and killing the mix, but I'm not 100 percent sure why it worked. Has anyone else noticed a huge jump just from changing paper weight, or am I fooling myself here?

Four good prints proves nothing, could be humidity or the ink finally settled.
