Finally nailed a consistent teal after 14 test prints

I run a small shop making tournament shirts, and teal has always been my worst color. My cyan to yellow ratio kept drifting between jobs, even with the same settings on paper. Last week I sat down and mapped out every single mix I tried, keeping notes on the exact ink weights and the temperature in the room. Turns out I was adding too much magenta, not too little cyan. I swapped to a 60/25/15 split and it came out spot on across three separate runs. The funny thing is the difference was barely visible on screen, but obvious on cotton. Has anyone else had a color that took that many tries to lock down, or was it just me being stubborn? The local print shop owner laughed when I showed him my spreadsheet, but he also asked for a copy.
