Vent: choosing between glossy laminate and matte on a 300 poster run, I still regret it
Had to pick for a concert poster drop in Nashville, 300 sheets, and I went with glossy because the band photos looked sharper on my monitor. But under the venue's stage lights, the glare was brutal, people had to tilt their heads to read the date. Matte would've handled the damp air in the basement bar too, three of them curled at the corners by midnight. Anyone else have a run where the finish looked fine in the shop but died in the real world?
