TIL my halftone dots were too small for the newsprint and that's why my photos looked washed out
Spent 3 hours last Tuesday reprinting a 500 copy run for a client in Fresno because every photo came out gray and flat. Turns out I was sending 150 lpi files to a press that can barely hold 85, so all the detail just smeared together. Anyone got a cheat sheet for matching line screen to paper stock so I stop wasting ink?
