Spent 2 hours fighting a banding issue with canned air, now I just run the clean cycle twice
Last Thursday I was printing a 300 page run of church bulletins and got these faint lines every 2 inches, so I pulled the print head and blasted it with canned air like I've done for 10 years. My coworker watched me do this for 45 minutes before he walked over, hit the maintenance button, and ran the built in clean cycle twice, and the banding was gone in 3 minutes. Why do we keep doing the dumb manual stuff when the machine literally has a button for it?
