Rant: my 2 color job kept coming out off register and the fix was a 60 cent part
I spent three weeks fighting a two color job on my old offset press where the magenta kept drifting about a millimeter off the cyan no matter how many times I re-tensioned the blanket. My neighbor, who ran a print shop in Cleveland for 22 years before he retired, watched me mess with it for ten minutes and asked when I last swapped the gripper pads, and I had to admit I never had. A $0.60 pad later everything lined up like it should, so what simple part have you been ignoring way too long?
