My neon green was coming out olive until I changed one setting on my plotter profile
I print a lot of band posters at home and my neon green kept coming out muddy and dark, kind of an olive color, no matter what I did in the design file. Last Thursday I finally pulled two test prints side by side, same file, five days apart, and the difference was huge. The fix was turning off the printer's own color management so it stopped double-converting my CMYK values. My plotter driver had it on by default and I never touched it. The neon went from a muddy #6b7a2e to a bright clean green right away. If you're on a similar setup, is your driver doing the color correction or is your design software handling it? I'd like to hear what other people run.
