Hit 500 poster prints without a single paper jam

I run a small print shop in Austin and we do a lot of event posters. Last week I counted back through our logs and realized we hit 500 straight prints on our old wide format machine with zero jams or misfeeds. That surprised me because we used to fight this thing weekly, especially with heavier stock. The fix was just slowing down the feed speed and using a lint roller on the rollers before each batch. Has anyone else found a weird trick that finally made their printer behave?
