Unpopular opinion: color coded folders made my work worse for 6 months
I used to swear by a rainbow of folder labels after seeing some studio setup on Instagram. Then last November during a big brochure rush at our shop in Portland, I wasted 45 minutes hunting for the final print files because I mixed up the teal and blue client folders. Now I just use plain black folders with a text file inside listing the project date and version, has anyone else ditched the color system after one dumb mistake?

Honestly same, one dumb mixup and my whole color system went in the trash.
