The $3 folder label habit I stole from a print shop in Austin

Went to pick up business cards last month and watched the owner run a whole job off a single shelf. Every binder had a plain label with the date and client initials, nothing fancy. I used to name my project folders like 'FINAL_v2_REAL' which is basically chaos. Now every active folder gets a label in the filename: client initials plus the date I last touched it. My files still look boring but I stopped opening the wrong folder 5 times a day. Anyone else adopt something simple from watching a stranger organize?
