Chat with my intern about file naming made me rethink my whole system
Yesterday my part-time intern asked why I had 14 versions of the same client logo with names like 'final_v3_REAL' and I honestly couldn't answer without laughing. She showed me her trick of using dates plus a short descriptor like '2025-04-08_logo_bluebg' and now I can actually find stuff in under a minute. Anyone else have a stupid naming habit they've been clinging to for way too long?
