Can we talk about daily vs. weekly cleanup schedules for design files?

My friend in Chicago started swearing by a daily 15-minute purge of their Figma frames, while I've always done a weekly Sunday sweep of everything. They argued that daily keeps the mental load lighter, but I feel it adds extra friction to a workday. Which one actually holds up when you're juggling client deadlines and personal projects? Who's tried both and stuck with one?
