Why does my city keep pushing EV chargers when the bus system is a mess?
Why does my city keep pushing EV chargers when the bus system is a mess? I compared the new $2.1 million charging station downtown against the 20 minute late bus I waited for last Tuesday and it's not even close which one helps more. We put 6 slow chargers in a lot that's empty after 6pm while the main route to the hospital still runs every 40 minutes. Has anyone else looked at their local budget numbers and felt like we're just picking the flashy option?
