The electric lawnmower I doubted for 2 years finally won me over in Cleveland
I always thought battery powered mowers were for people with tiny postage stamp yards. My lot is about a third of an acre with some thick grass near the back fence. Last spring my gas mower finally gave up after 12 seasons, and I borrowed my neighbor's EGO for a weekend instead of renting something. I was sure it would die halfway through. It cut the whole yard on one charge, and the next day it still had 40 percent left. The quiet part is what got me, I could actually hear the birds while I worked. I still use gas equipment for my pest control routes, but for home use I think I'm done with gas. Has anyone else switched part of their routine over and found it works better than they expected?
