My city's new compost program is a total mess
They rolled out the green bins in Portland last month, but half my street didn't get the right pickup schedule. I had a bin full of food scraps for two weeks before I gave up and drove it to the depot myself. Has anyone else's local government botched a rollout this badly, and what did you do to actually get your waste diverted?

Honestly, ours started rough but got sorted pretty quick.

The first six months were brutal, like 3AM feedings every night. We finally realized the baby hated the brand of diapers we kept buying. Switched to a different kind and it was like flipping a switch. Sometimes the fix is a tiny detail you overlook because you're so tired. Glad yours got sorted fast too.
