My city banned gas leaf blowers in April and my neighbor is still using his every Saturday
Back in April, our city council passed a ban on gas powered leaf blowers to cut emissions and noise, and I was honestly all for it. Last Saturday I watched my next door neighbor fire his up anyway for 45 minutes straight, and when I mentioned the ban he just shrugged and said nobody enforces it. So here is my question: do these small bans actually do anything for climate action, or should cities put that effort into bigger stuff like bus routes and building codes instead?
