My $140 solar battery bank finally paid for itself on a camping trip

Bought a small 200W solar panel and a used deep cycle battery back in March for $140 total. Set it up at my campsite in Flagstaff last weekend and ran my fridge, phone, and a string of lights for two nights without touching the car alternator. The gas savings alone from not idling to charge stuff covered like $20, but honestly the bigger win was showing my buddy how easy it is. Anyone else here run a tiny off-grid setup just for weekend trips?
