I finally tracked my home's energy use for a full year

My total came out to 8,200 kWh, which is way lower than the 12,000 kWh average for my area. Has anyone else done this and been surprised by their numbers?

Saw an article about how these averages can be skewed by a few huge homes. Your place is probably just more efficient than those old energy hogs. Nice work getting the real data.

lmao right? @robinl90 probably got a gold star from the power company for singlehandedly keeping them in business. guess my place is just a cozy little energy sipper compared to those monster houses.
