Had to choose between a heat pump and a new gas furnace for my house in Denver

Went with the heat pump last month even though it cost $2,000 more upfront, and so far my electric bill is actually lower than my old gas bill was, but I'm curious how it'll hold up when we hit those single digit days in January.

Ngl you might be singing a different tune come January when that backup resistance heat kicks in, those things can absolutely wreck your bill.
