Had a near miss with a heat pump installation last week that made me think twice
I help clean houses in Portland, Oregon, and one of my clients just got a heat pump put in last Tuesday. The installer left the outdoor unit sitting on a patch of dirt instead of a proper concrete pad, and it tilted almost 4 inches during the first rainstorm. Has anyone else dealt with contractors cutting corners on climate-friendly upgrades?

Left the outdoor unit sitting on a patch of dirt" - thats some next level laziness right there lol. I swear some installers treat climate gear like they're setting up a lawn chair instead of expensive equipment that needs to survive the elements. Hopefully your client can get them back to fix it before that unit takes a full nosedive into the mud.
