Got laughed out of a city council meeting in Bend over my 'ugly' solar plan
Last month in Bend I pitched used panels off a decommissioned warehouse instead of new ones, and a guy in the back row called it a waste of a good roof. I showed the council the $4,100 quote versus $11,000 new and they still tabled it. Has anyone gotten a small city to actually say yes to refurbished panels, and what number finally made them listen?
