Everyone pushing for carbon offsets is missing the real problem

I looked into buying offsets for my family's flights last year and found most projects are poorly verified. A study showed over 90% of rainforest carbon credits from one big provider didn't actually reduce emissions. Why are we acting like offsets are a fix instead of cutting actual pollution first?

You said 'cutting actual pollution first' and yeah that's what finally made a difference for me... I stopped buying offsets and started just taking one less flight a year instead, actually feels way better.
