Hot take: a guy in Milwaukee rejected my whole logo because of the font's 'energy' and I still can't figure out what that means
So I finished a logo for a small coffee shop in Milwaukee about 3 weeks ago, and the owner took one look at it and just said it didn't match the "energy" he wanted. I asked what energy, and he pointed at the letter R and said it felt "a little too Tuesday." I redid the whole thing 4 times, and on the last round he told me his nephew with a Canva account could do it for free instead. Now I'm second guessing every font choice I make and wondering if I'm missing some secret design language. Has anyone else gotten feedback this vague, and what do you even say back to that?
