Update: the client who hosted our kickoff at his country club in Scottsdale spent 40 minutes talking about his boat before showing the "logo brief"
I drove out to Scottsdale last month for what he called a kickoff lunch, and he spent 40 minutes on his new boat before sliding over a brief that was just a photo of his old logo with "make it pop more" written in pen. He then asked if my $3,500 quote could be "closer to $800 since it's mostly just tweaking," and when I said no he told me his nephew could do it in Canva anyway. How do you all handle the ones who clearly have money but still want to pay like it's a favor?
