That Client Who Paid $900 for a Logo Rejected My Portfolio

Everyone warns about cheap clients, but my worst one paid triple my normal rate. They hired me for a logo in Boston, then complained every single draft, even the ones they approved. After 6 revisions, they said my whole portfolio looked like 'template work' and asked for a refund. I checked their old contractor reviews, turns out they do this to everyone, high pay is just bait. Now I ask for full payment upfront and a short contract before picking up bigger jobs. Has anyone else had a well-paying client turn out to be the biggest headache?
