Pro tip: check their calendar before signing
I had a client last month in Portland. Seemed great at first. Then I found out they expected same day replies at 10 PM on Saturdays. They never mentioned after hours work during the pitch. Learned to ask about communication windows and turnaround expectations upfront. Has anyone else found a good way to screen for time vampire clients?

It's like people forget boundaries don't exist just because you're working remote lol. I've noticed this same pattern with friends who expect instant replies to texts, turns out some folks just think "available" means "always on.
