I almost turned down a $3k retainer from a guy who only emailed in all caps
Last month a potential client hit me up about a monthly social media package and every single email he sent was in ALL CAPS with no greeting, so I figured he would be a nightmare to work with. I sat on his quote for four days because I was sure the caps meant he would scream at me over every little thing. Finally I hopped on a 15 minute call with him and it turns out he just never learned to type without caps lock on, and he was actually the calmest guy I have talked to all year. He paid the first two months up front without me even asking, which nobody does. Now I am wondering how many other decent clients I have skipped just because their emails looked weird, so what small thing has made you write someone off too fast?
